Makeover Photoshoots To Make Us Sparkle & Shine Again!

Meet Cheryl. She’s in her late 50’s and after 27 years of marriage, she’s delving into the dating world again.
She was nervous and scared, but knew that if she wanted to see success in her new dating adventure, she needed good photos. So she sought out INSIDE THE STYLE STUDIO to give her the fresh start she needed to get on the dating apps with Confidence!
THE MAKEUP LOOK:
We gave Cheryl a beautiful 'natural look' with her hair and makeup. It was important that we didn’t over glamourize her, but rather make her look refreshed and vibrant. I wanted to capture her 'inner sparkle' and let it light up her face : )
For dating photos, it's important that we look like our photos when we show up in person. So the makeup look we suggest for dating photos is about dewy vibrant skin, light shadows to bring out the eyes, defined eyebrows to frame the face, and a light lip color to enhance our smile. Cheryl was thrilled with her makeover. For hair, we wanted soft flirtatious locks of golden blond that gave her body and bouNce.
THE PHOTOSHOOT:
Then it was time to shoot….. She tensed with anxieties. I hugged her and told her to relaX and that her only job was to forget everything and just have fun with me. I showed her some modeling & posing techniques. I teased her with the vision of her dream 'beau'. I guided her into her first set of poses and she immediately laughed, feeling silly like a little girl inside.... but it made her laugh and loosen up. From that point on, she realized this photoshoot was just going to be fun. I'm not too serious. I'm here to make you feel silly and sexy all in a few click, click, clicks with my camera. Once I got her into her flowing movement of poses, she took over and her inhibitions left her. She was posing on her own. Laughing and smiling from her heart and feeling on top of the world!
At the end of the shoot, she said, "this was the most exhilarating experience!" She felt like a whole new woman. Brimming with confidence and excited to get herself back out there in the dating arena! Part of the dating makeover photoshoot is building a feeling of confidence. It's an experience of looking and feeling like a model for a day with photos that will make you gasp a fresh breath of air about yourself.
