RECONNECT! Call an old friend. Life gets so busy running to the office, day care, school and extracurricular activities that we often don’t get the time to catch up with old friends or family far away. Clean out your phone’s over packed photo album. The greatest thing about digitals is that we can take endless clicks to get just the perfect picture. But then we’re left with hundreds and even thousands of unnecessary photos. Take an hour and go through your phones photo album and save only your favorites. Share some old memories with friends. You’ll enjoy looking back and I bet it brings a few smiles to your face!

Look on your walls and at your desk frames…. How old are those photos? I’m a photographer and most of the photos I have framed are years old. With the onset of the digital photo world, I print far less. Honestly it’s a matter of being so lazy from over packed days that I never got to it. I walk by the frames on my wall like it is wall paper. I’m only reminded how old the photos are when friends come by and comment. I’m going to take some time to find some favorite new photos and update my walls and desk frames. I’m printing a few special ones for my mom, dad, kids and for friends. I know it’ll bring a smile to their face.

Being grateful is a mindset that will start and end your day with inner happiness
In the morning, take just 5 minutes to write 3 things that will empower your day. I like to start of my day by acknowledging three things positive things I want to accomplish today, such as "today I will be positive, calm and centered because I want to share love and peace with those I love around me, not stress".
At the end of the day, take 5 minutes to write 3 things that you are grateful for or things that happened in your day that you are grateful for. It's not about accomplishing goals, it's about setting a grateful mindset that will start and end your day with fulfillment about your life.

Be inspired. Invigorate your mind while at home.
Start a new PINTERST page board and start pinning new fresh looks that you like. Choose photos that have an outfit you like, a new hairstyle you like, a make up look you’re attracted to. You’ll start seeing a pattern of what you like. Many people are often surprised that they choose a lot of outfits with color and yet their wardrobe is all black, gray or white mostly.

Staying healthy is priority. Working out relieves stress.
With so many of the fitness centers temporarily closed, start a new at-home workout routine. Make it as short at 15 minutes or as long as an hour. Moving the muscles and increasing the heart rate will refresh your body, mind, and spirit. You may think it’s useless to do, but just try it for a week and you’ll see how it clears your head and makes you feel refreshed inside. When you feel clear and refreshed, you’ll find your spirits will be brighter and you can accomplish much more!

We all like getting gifts, but you’d be surprised how much you get from giving or sharing with others. It’s more rewarding to make a difference in someones life than to have to be on the end of needing help from others. SHARE some motivation or inspiration with someone who is worried, scared or fearful in this epidemic crisis. REASSURE them of the positive. SPREAD good words and create a positive mindset to those around you. This is a moment where much of life has changed for many (temporarily) and change can be scary for many. Give them reassurance of the good. Keep them positive with your words of encouragement. You’ll feel good about making even the smallest difference in someone’s life!
